A 4 hour introduction to the materials, processes and procedures, to get you started on creating your own cyanotype prints.
After an initial safety overview, we'll cover the formulas, paper options, chemical applications and take a look at the effects of different, non-toxic, toners that change the colour & appearance of the finished piece. We'll also investigate printing on fabric before the day is out. This is a fun, hands-on workshop that will open the door to comfortably get you started on your creative cyanotype journey in your own garden at home. You’ll leave with a number of finished prints A5-A4 sized prints, ready for framing or Christmas cards! 
No experience necessary. 14 yrs+ $165

We'll look at best options for creating digital negatives, investigate both the 19th century original formula vs. the Mike Ware, 21st century formula. We will also explore the paper, application, exposure techniques, material and non-toxic toning options + a lot more. This is a fun, hands-on, workshop with so much to explore - At the end of the day you'll leave with the tools to set yourself up at home to continue on your cyanotype journey and a number of finished prints that will be worthy of framing or as a wonderful Christmas gift.

No experience is necessary. 15yrs.+ Some photo editing skills would be beneficial, although not required. $230 workshop fee includes all materials and morning tea.
(you will bring along your 3-4 optimised image files that you will work with on the day (*there will be more details regarding the images files emailed to you once you have booked).
